Argentina Data MCP · What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets your AI assistant query live data during the conversation, instead of relying only on what it learned when it was trained.
Without MCP, if you ask your assistant the dollar rate, it answers with the latest figure it "remembers" — which can be months old. With Argentina Data MCP connected, the assistant queries the source in real time and answers with today's figure.
Your assistant uses the MCP "tools" on its own: you ask in plain language and it decides what to query. There are no commands to learn and no new screens.
You: "What's the blue (parallel) dollar rate today?"
Your assistant queries Argentina Data and answers with today's rate, citing the source.
You: "And how much is milk at the supermarkets in my area?"
It queries the official SEPA program prices, updated daily, and compares the chains for you.
Dollar exchange rates, inflation and 32,000+ economic series, current legislation and tax data — monotributo (simplified tax regime), income tax, VAT —, the ARCA taxpayer registry, supermarket and fuel prices, national holidays, election results, the 2022 Census and more — from official and reference sources, with the update date in plain view. The full catalog is on the homepage.
Any assistant that supports MCP: Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT (paid plans), Cursor, VS Code and others. MCP is an open industry standard, not something exclusive to one company.
Your assistant can only query public data: it can't operate accounts, move money or access your files through this service. Access is controlled by your account, which you can cancel whenever you want.
The information provided is for guidance only and does not constitute professional advice. Argentina Data MCP is an independent service, not affiliated with the agencies whose public sources it queries. · Back to the homepage
