Gas and diesel prices in Argentina today: by station, province and brand from your AI assistant
The price of nafta (gasoline) changes often and is not the same at every station or in every province. With Argentina Data MCP, your AI assistant looks up the prices that stations report to the Secretaría de Energía (Argentina's Energy Secretariat) and tells you how much regular, premium, gasoil (diesel) or CNG costs in your city, which station is cheapest near an address, and how YPF, Shell, Axion and the other brands compare.
You can filter by province, city, fuel type or company, ask for the cheapest around a given point, and see how the price has moved over recent months. Every answer states the date of the data and whether the price was reported by that station or is a reference value for the brand.

The assistant reads "nafta" as regular unless you say otherwise, and locates an address or a town without you having to give it coordinates.
Price reported by the station or brand reference
Not all prices claim the same thing, and the answer says which is which. The official survey by the Secretaría de Energía is what each station declares for itself: that is the data with real dispersion, the one that tells you where it pays to fill up. But coverage of that survey is uneven, and for some large brands only a few stations have reported a price in the last week. For those cases, Argentina Data MCP adds a reference value per brand and product, which is real but is not the price at that particular station: a city in the south and a city in the center will show the same number. When the price you see is of this second kind, the answer labels it as a brand reference so you don't read it as the pump price on that corner.
What the Pro plan includes
The fuel tools are in beta: they work, but coverage and the way the data is presented are still being adjusted. That is why they are part of the Pro plan, which costs ARS 1,100 per month and adds all the beta tools to what you already get in the Free plan (20 queries per day, all stable tools, no credit card). If all you want is today's gas price in your city, the Pro plan is all you need; the dollar, inflation and supermarkets are already in the Free plan.

Sources and update frequency
- Secretaría de Energía (Argentina's Energy Secretariat): pump prices reported by gas stations (Resolution 314/2016), by station, product and date.
Prices are taken from the official survey as stations report their values. Every answer indicates the effective date of the data and whether it is a price recorded at that station or a brand reference.
