• Compare across chains: which one is cheapest and which is most expensive for that product, and how big the gap is.
• The cheapest branch near you: crosses prices by chain with the promotions in force at each branch around an address.
• A chain's promotions: which products are on sale today, with list price, promotional price and percentage saved.

How to ask so the answer is useful

It works best with specific products: "1-liter whole milk" or "1.5-liter sunflower oil" give better results than "dairy". If you want to compare brands, name the brand; if you want the cheapest regardless of brand, say so and the assistant compares by price per liter or per kilo, which is the fair way to compare different package sizes. For the cheapest branch, give it an address or an intersection; for the personalized price, tell it how you pay (a bank card, a digital wallet, a points program) and which day you plan to go. And if you are planning the week's shopping, pass it the full list and ask which chain is best for each item.

Honest limits

Prices come from what each chain reports to SEPA, which is mandatory but doesn't always match the shelf price to the cent on a given day, especially with last-minute promotions. Coverage is that of the chains reporting to the system: corner stores, health food shops and wholesalers that are not in SEPA do not appear. Bank discounts are collected from what each bank or wallet publishes and come with conditions (refund caps, days, card type) worth verifying with the institution before counting on them. And when a discount source has gone several days without an update, the answer warns you instead of presenting it as current.
